Service Description

Your Tour begins with collection from Motril Cruise Port at 10.30 am, for a scenic drive along the stunning Costa Tropical to the beautiful historic town of Almuñécar. Our first stop is the impressive ancient Roman Aqueduct, a remarkable reminder of the town's rich Roman heritage. We then continue to Penon de Santo-San Cristobal, where those wishing to do so can enjoy a short walk to the summit. The reward is breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean coastline and some excellent photo opportunities. Next, we'll stroll through the beautiful Majuelo Archaeological Park, where you will discover the fascinating remains of Almuñecar's Moorish past and gain an insight into the town's remarkable history. After exploring the area, we'll make our way to a carefully selected local restaurant to enjoy an authentic Spanish lunch. Your meal includes a selection of traditional tapas to start, followed by a delicious, freshly prepared Paella, served with a refreshing Sangria. To finish, you will be treated to some locally made artisan ice cream. During lunch, we have arranged for a local Flamenco group to perform some entertainment for you. After lunch, we will rejoin the coach for the return journey to Motril Port, making a scenic stop to admire the picturesque whitewashed village of Salobreña and its beautiful castle. We expect to arrive back at Motril Cruise Port at approximately 4.30 pm, giving you plenty of time before your departure.
